IKON Systems was founded in 1992. At the outset, the company was a provider of PCs to home enthusiasts and simultaneously furnished technology solutions to forward thinking small to medium sized companies in the greater Cork region. As the technology advanced, IKON Systems began to provide newer solutions more routinely e.g. multiprocessor based platforms for specialist applications, RAID architectures to achieve database performance and wireless networking for portability and accessibility. In offering new solutions it also grew its SME business. Things have changed since early days. Above all has come about the concept of total cost of ownership. Not only must technology solutions be accessible and within budget but the technology must be fit for purpose. Our team of employees start by analysing business needs, providing solutions to these needs and emerge with a satisfied business partner.
